Clinicians

Clinician consulting with a patient

We believe clinical partnerships are essential both to understand the microbiome’s role in health and disease as well as to translate our research into meaningful advances for patients. Furthermore, we believe that equipping clinicians with the tools and skills to design, implement, and analyze clinical studies of the microbiome is critical to accelerate discoveries with clinical relevance.

If you are a physician researcher in New England interested in collaborating with CMIT to design and execute a microbiome study in your area of expertise, please fill out an application for Clinical Collaborations below.

If you are a clinical fellow in the Boston area looking to join or collaborate with a microbiome research group as part of your studies, please reach out to us at humanmicrobiome@mit.edu.

Care providers, clinical research staff, and medical professionals at all career stages are welcome to join us at our seminars, symposia and social events to meet our community members and learn more about CMIT.
